My mom is home everyday. I’ve been spending my lunch with my friends because I need to do homework and it’s too hot to be outside. Pauline always talks to me. Vivy always talks to me. Haley and Clannys and Hafitha stop by to say hi. Rama screams over the morning/afternoon announcements and teachers just to tell me about some guy she saw in the hallway. Kris and I talked for the first time in weeks last night and I stayed up until 2 in the morning just so we could exchange empty compliments. My teachers expect me to talk in class for participation grades.
I’m spending so much energy on interacting with people that I don’t like or that make me uncomfortable and I don’t have any energy left for talking to the people I actually want to talk to like Raquel and Boris.
